There’s nothing quite like a fry-up after a hard day in the hills. With the Bushbuck Tempest Frypan, you no longer have to carry heavy, bulky pans from your home kitchen to enjoy your favourite foods in the great outdoors. The Tempest Frypan has been engineered for adventurers. Made from brushed hard-anodised aluminium, the pan is ultra-lightweight (only 400 grams) and durable. At 21cm, it’s big enough to cook a good-sized steak for dinner, bacon and eggs for breakfast, and small enough to tuck away in your pack without a second thought. The stainless steel handles have silicone covers for heat protection and wrap around the pan when it’s not in use to minimise the space it takes up. The Teflon coating on the cooking surface makes for easy cooking and clean-up. The most unique feature of the Tempest is the heat exchange system, which increases cooking efficiency by up to 25%. If you’ve ever used a standard frypan on a camping stove, you’ll know the heat is concentrated in the centre of the pan. This can make it challenging to cook food evenly, sometimes causing it to burn. The Tempest’s heat exchange system ensures heat is distributed around the base of the pan, giving you a nice, even cook every time. It also protects from the wind and cold, allowing you to whip up a hot meal in unforgiving conditions. The Tempest Frypan is fully compatible with Bushbuck’s Spitfire and Tomahawk Jet Cookers and is designed to sit securely on top, but it can also work with other camp stoves.
